Where is the library index?

How often are the library articles updated?

We maintain a constant vigil and perform monthly updates. We also add at least 10 new articles every quarter, so the library content is always changing.  We highlight these new articles on the library index for easy identification.  We do our absolute best but occasionally we might miss something - if you do find an article that is out of date or contains an error, please let us know so we can fix it for you.

Why can't I find any current economic/market updates?
Due to their time-sensitivity we are unable to provide current market reports or updates in the library. However, if you would like a thoroughly researched and easy-to-understand market report written specific to your client base, just ask us to write it for you. There is an additional cost for us to write tailored articles for you. This also applies to Federal Budget articles. Contact us here or call us on (07) 3821 3773 for full details.

Are any of the articles protected by copyright?

No, paying subscribers are free to use any of the articles in the library without acknowledging Financial Writers Australia. You can publish them as is or make any changes you wish. Where library articles refer to specific data, the sources will be noted for your reference to enable you to confirm/update if required and publish this particular information. [Special Note: always be careful when sourcing information from other websites, as ALL information is protected by copyright law unless the owner of the material gives you permission to reprint it.]

Why are some pages on the website blank?

The library is currently only viewable using Internet Explorer Version 8, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.  If you see a blank screen update your Internet Explorer version for complete usability.

How do I download articles?

For complete instructions on downloading the articles as a Word document, click here http://www.financialarticles.com.au/public/department119.cfm.

Can we edit the articles after we have downloaded them?

Absolutely yes! These are now yours to do what you wish. Many of the articles are very general in nature so you may personalise them to suit your clients.

I have subscribed but I can't open all the articles in the library.

The entire library is available only to paid subscribers. Free "sneak peek" subscriptions grant access only to the Sample Articles for one 2-day trial period. To upgrade your subscription and access all of the financial and lifestyle articles, click here http://www.financialarticles.com.au/public/163.cfm.

How can I pay for my subscription?

Subscriptions are paid by automatic monthly instalment using the secure Ezidebit system. This allows you to pay by credit card or direct bank debit and ensures you always have access to the library whenever you need it.  Click here for full details http://www.financialarticles.com.au/public/163.cfm.

How long will it take for my payment to clear with Ezidebit?

Ezidebit may take up to three days to process with your bank and the funds are deposited on the next available deposit day.

The website link shown as a source for data in an article won't work

We do our best to check all links in all articles but sometimes website addresses change or are deleted. In many cases we only include the home website address (ie. not the whole link) to overcome this problem. This allows you to go to that site and confirm the required information. If you can't find the exact source for the data, an easy option is to use your favourite search engine and type in the details from the article to find another source or similar data for referencing.

There is no source shown for data quoted in an article

We are working hard to ensure all library articles reference sources, however if you have found one that has slipped through, please contact us with the details and we will provide a source for you, or update the article with similar information and sources.

I have downloaded an article with figures/words in red type

We are constantly updating the library but we could miss a figure. To provide a second level of protection, we highlight information that regularly changes for you to double-check.

Where is the library index?

You can download the current library index by opening "Library Article Index" from the main menu and clicking on the link to the pdf.
